About Devil's Backbone Brewing Co.
Established in 2008, Devils Backbone Brewing Company is a brewpub located in Roseland, Virginia, close to the Wintergreen Resort. In 2012, a 15,000 sq. ft. production facility and tap room, referred to as the Outpost Brewery, was established near Lexington, Virginia.

The brewery has won several awards at both the Great American Beer Festival and the World Beer Cup.  2010 also saw Devils Backbone named the World Beer Cup Brewers Association World Beer Cup 2010 Champion Brewery and Brewmaster - Small Brewpub.

Can Can is excited to feature this Virginia brewery in May with a generous selection on tap & bottled as well as pairing suggestions with our menu.

EIGHT POINT IPA  |  5.9% abv  |  12 oz. |  $7.00
A cornucopia of hop varieties imparts a floral-citrus aroma and a crisp bitterness to this medium-bodied ale. Concocted from Pilsen and a dash of Caramel malts, this burnished-golden brew has a sweet malt backbone for balance.

VIENNA LAGER  |  4.9 % abv  |  draft  |  $7.00
An amber colored lager , medium in body, with a finish that has hints of caramel and toasted nuts.  A pinch of noble hops gives this refreshing beer a clean finish.

Our Scottish Wee-Heavy ale aged on wood used by Belmont Farm Distillery. Hints of whisky, oak and vanilla blend with the rich maltiness of this beer.

Meet Abby, Azrael’s darker twin. This Belgian beauty is mysteriously alluring with a sultry flavor combination of brown sugar, plum and spices in a dark burgundy hue. Abby has a deep, rich flavor, and a serious strength but like her sister, hides behind a  deceptively light fruity finish.  On the surface she’s the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet, but one taste you’ll be trapped in her darkly alluring web.
